The Imagine National Dance Challenge, hosted by Star Dance Alliance, will be returning to Erie for its final event of the regular season on Saturday at the Bayfront Convention Center.

Imagine Dance Challenge invited 200 dancers from Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania to showcase their talent and compete for top honors.

“The energy and enthusiasm from the dancers and the community last year was incredible,” said Shaun Moe, National Director of Imagine Dance Challenge. “We can’t wait to experience the vibrant performances and celebrate the hard work and dedication of these talented young dancers.”

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with performances by dancers aged eight and under, as well as those aged nine-11, showcasing solos, duets/trios and group performances. An award ceremony for these age groups will take place at 11:15 a.m., followed by complimentary master classes.

At 3 p.m., the spotlight shifts to dancers aged 12-14 and 15-19, who will compete in solos, duets/trios and groups. The day will end with an award ceremony at 7:30 p.m.

“We are delighted to bring the Imagine National Dance Challenge back to Erie,” said Mark Jeanneret, executive director of the Erie Sports Commission. “Last year’s event was tremendous success, and we are excited to see even more outstanding performances this year.”
