Perry Square Park, located in the heart of Erie's downtown, has played host to a multitude of running and cycling events, as well as community festivals and concerts. In the past several years, Perry Square has been the host of The Color Run, which saw more than 11,000 participants in its first year in Erie, and Lake Erie Cyclefest, which sees hundreds of cyclists in Downtown Erie over the course of four days.
