Built on Erie’s waterfront, the Bayfront Convention Center features more than 120,000 total square feet of space and spectacular floor-to-ceiling views of Presque Isle Bay. The Great Hall features more than 28,000 square feet of column-free space and a ceiling height of 23 feet.
The Bayfront Convention Center has hosted events such as boxing matches, bodybuilding competitions, wrestling tournaments, gymnastics and cheerleading competitions, billiards, and even regional dog shows. Recent events include the American Cornhole Erie Major, VNEA PA State 8-Ball Championships and the Stars and Stripes Gymnastics Invitational, the largest co-ed gymnastics event in Pennsylvania.
The facility has more than 470 parking spaces and is connected to two hotels – the 200-room Sheraton Erie Bayfront and the 192-room Courtyard Erie Bayfront. More than 15 meeting rooms are available on site, along with 8,800 square feet of outdoor space. The Bayfront Convention Center and two attached hotels make up Bayfront Landing.
