The First Ever Roller Derby Tournament Comes to Erie This Saturday

This Saturday, the Erie Bayfront Convention Center will host the Bayfront Bruisefest Roller Derby Tournament, organized by the Erie Roller Derby. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with the tournament kicking off at 9:30 a.m. and running until 10 p.m.

The Bayfront Bruisefest will feature a round-robin format, allowing each team to compete in three WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) sanctioned games throughout the morning.

Four teams will compete in the tournament, including three visiting teams: Youngstown Area Roller Derby from Ohio and Hogtown Roller Derby and Durham Roller Derby from Ontario. Each team will have 20 skaters.
