Bay Frog Open Swim

The Uncommon Grit SEAL Foundation will host the fourth annual Bay Frog Open One-Mile Swim on Sunday, June 21. This open-water mile swim attracts the region’s strongest swimmers, who will be accompanied by former Navy SEALs and special operations veterans.

The event raises funds that directly benefit select veteran and first responder initiatives in Erie, PA. Each swimmer is required to raise a minimum of $75.

Participants must be at least 16 years of age and have extensive triathlon or open-water swimming experience. All participants will receive a finisher medal.

Event arrival begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, where shuttles will transport participants to Presque Isle Bay for the 7:30 a.m. swim start. Awards will be held at the Erie Yacht Club following the swim.
