NCBBA Women's National Championships

The NCBBA Women’s National Championship is a premier collegiate basketball event that brings together the top women’s club programs from across the country. Held April 10 through April 12 at both the Hagerty Family Events Center and the Highmark Events Center, the tournament will feature eight qualifying NCBBA‑W teams competing for the title of 2026 National Champion. Teams advance to this stage through regular season performance and regional competition, earning the opportunity to play on one of the biggest stages in the collegiate club basketball landscape.

The championship follows a single elimination format across three consecutive days, creating a highly competitive environment where every game matters. The structure is designed to highlight team strategy, athletic ability, and competitive resilience as programs battle through quarterfinal, semifinal, and championship rounds. With only one team able to emerge as the national champion, the tournament offers an exciting progression of matchups that elevate the level of play with each passing round.

In addition to the main bracket, Saturday April 11 will feature the fourth NCBBA‑W skills competition. This event provides participating athletes with a unique opportunity to showcase individual abilities in categories focused on shooting, ball handling, and overall skill execution. The skills competition adds an engaging and interactive layer to the championship weekend, giving fans and teammates another chance to cheer on standout performers.

Hosting the championship in two of Erie’s well equipped athletic venues allows athletes, coaches, and spectators to enjoy a high quality environment suited for national level play. With its combination of elite competition and supportive championship atmosphere, the NCBBA Women’s National Championship delivers an exciting and memorable experience for collegiate club basketball programs from across the nation.
