The Erie Sports Commission launched a new marketing campaign, Erie for the Win, designed to continue to highlight Erie County, PA, as a premier destination for sports tourism and competitive events.
Created in partnership with Red House Communications, the Erie Sports Commission’s creative marketing agency, the campaign highlights the region's unique landmarks, attractions and top-tier sporting facilities, demonstrating that hosting an event in Erie is always a win.
“The campaign captures the momentum and growth Erie County has built as a premier sports destination,” said Mark Jeanneret, executive director for the Erie Sports Commission. “From national tournaments to regional competitions, Erie consistently delivers winning outcomes for event organizers and participants. Erie for the Win reflects what we’ve accomplished and is a confident statement about our future direction.”
Campaign development began in August 2025, when the Erie Sports Commission and Red House teams collaborated to define goals, objectives and creative directions. After reviewing three concepts, Erie for the Win was selected as the final campaign.
The new campaign will appear in national industry publications, digital marketing initiatives and additional promotional materials that support the Erie Sports Commission's mission.
“When developing the campaign, we wanted to capture what makes Erie special. As sports tourism continues to be a driving force for Erie’s economy, we worked creatively to highlight the region's strengths and continued growth,” said Dan Filipek, account director at Red House Communications. “This campaign showcases Erie as a place where events of every size can thrive, and collaborating with the Erie Sports Commission helped bring the vision to life.”
The Erie Sports Commission is committed to promoting the Erie region as a prime destination for sports and recreation. Erie for the Win will further strengthen the region's appeal to athletes and event organizers, helping drive continued growth in sports tourism across the county.
